Leaving GPS On?

Saturday 23rd of March 2013 / androidforums.com
Does this drain the battery if you leave it on at all times? Or is the Android system smart enough to only have it in use when it knows you are actually using it like Navigation and other things?

Battery life question.

Saturday 14th of September 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
Does leaving on GPS, Bluetooth, and WiFi drain the battery much more than turning it off on this phone? I've always turned off whatever I didn't need but I was wondering if this phone didn't require that for good battery life. Thanks! Posted via Android Central App

Leaving "Location" Turned On All The Time?

Sunday 12th of April 2015 / forums.androidcentral.com
Normally, I turn off the "Location" setting to turn off the GPS to save battery power, but I've noticed that when you do that Android Device Manager can't find the location of your smartphone. Since I'd like to have this feature in case lose my phone and need to find it, I now leave Location turned on. Does anyone else leave their GPS turned on all the time? If so, any battery drain issues?
