Bionic Stuck in Ap Flashboot (Boot Failure); Will not Charge(for reflashing)
Wednesday 29th of February 2012
Hello everyone. I First wanted to say that I have learned a lot from the smart individuals here. I have rooted devices in the past with not too many problems but this Bionic has given me a headache. Any help is appreciated and thank you.Confirmed: Updated Moto drivers and rsd 5.6 work fine and are setup correctly. What happened: I was on the stock bionic (886 i believe). I went to flash the .902 update as i am already rooted and wanted to put ICS on it. It got to step 22/23 and the battery was too low so it failed and stopped. Now every time i turn the phone in, I get the AP fastboot screen with a Boot Failure message. I know of course how this happened, but is there a way to fix it? I cannot reflash without battery power. I left the thing plugged in all night, the device didnt feel warm at all and i've read a few places that AP fastboot mode will not charge a phone.Currently it goes all black, doesn't turn on while the white led is on, in the top right. That LED only appears when i can't turn it on. It goes away and turns on to the AP flash screen again (assuming that it charges just

Now to my questions - When you said flash something successfully, what do u mean? what is there to flash? Also when I get to AP Fastboot mode manually and choose option #4 do you mean 'BP SBF Flash' is that option 4? or something else. Side note- Do I need root access to use the RSD lite method? Razr XT912 Boots into AP Fastboot (Recipe Failure)

I'm pretty sure I'm to blame for what's currently going on right now with my phone, but hopefully there's a way to resolve it.Back when the unofficial christmas update came out, I rooted my phone and installed the update, things worked for a while but certain apps (e.g. Chrome) started to really drag and my battery life (which was already bad) started to really suffer. When the official update came out I followed what I thought were the correct instructions for installing it with the DRU - I went back to ICS, unrooted, and installed the JB update. Since then, every time my phone runs out of battery (which is frequent), or I turn off my phone and turn it back on, the phone will automatically boot to AP Fastboot Mode with the screen showing:AP Fastboot Flash Mode (S) (Recipe Failure)0A.77The rest of the screen reads properly depending on the battery state and if it's plugged into my computer. So far, I've tried to image a stock JB rom onto my phone multiple times with the most recent version of the DRU, and with RSD Lite. As far as I know, the rom is not corrupted, but from what I can f

I rooted my RAZR and everything went perfectly. Used the phone for about a day or so with no problems at all.Suddenly, I went to boot up the phone and got the following message:AP Fastboot Flash Mode (S) (Flash Failure)OA.66Device is LOCKED. Status Code: 0Battery OKOK to ProgramConnect USBData CableWith that, I'm at a loss on how to get my phone back. I've tried pushing down the Vol Up and Vol Down buttons at the same time while booting and tested every option with no success. If you know of anything, please let me know.I've also tried the R3L3AS3D Root Tool but that failed as well. I would hate to have to wait for an .sbf file to get this phone working again, because it is awesome. Thanks in advance for any help that you can offer up.

I'm a bionic owner ... was running stock, unrooted 5.5.893, then used P3Droid's root method and rooted and didn't really do much with it... installed the 43V3R root hack from p3 and dhacker, etc. and just sorta left it there as well...NOW I need to return my phone to Verizon because of the incessant data drops. I'm stock, rooted running 5.5.893 via the official Verizon OTA. The problem is this... instead of being content just re-flashing a non-rooted system like I should have, I jumped right to RSDLite and tried to flash the file here (which I now realize might be only for 5.5.886): Droid Bionic Receives Fastboot Recovery Files - BriefMobileAnd I got a Flash Failure ("FAIL") ... so NOW every time I start my phone up, it boots directly into AP Fastboot Mode and reads:AP Fastboot Flash Mode (S) (Flash Failure)0A.61Battery OKOK to ProgramConnect USBData CableHow do I resolve this? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! I need to send this phone back TOMORROW!!I can boot normally by holding down pwr + up vol + down vol and selecting "Normal powerup" and I can manually

Stuck in AP Fastboot It says Load kernel (boot) failed Fastboot Reason: Boot Failure
Wednesday 11th of September 2013
Hi allWell I bricked my phone and I'm stuck in AP Fastboot. When I try to start the phone (boot it up from off) It gets as far as the M logo then enters AP fastboot or it might even go directly to fastboot. What I was doing: I was trying to use Matt's Droid RAZR M utility 1.20 option 1 to go back to stock 4.1.2. That's when my problems started. I had nearly 70% battery when i started (now it says "low battery"). Phone set up: Droid RAZR M 4.1.2; Rooted; Locked bootloader; Safestrap 3.12 and backed up; stock slot was still stock and ROM slot 1 was running Eclipse Custom ROM. To be honest I cant remember if i was back in stock ROM slot or ROM slot 1 when I attempted to use Matt's Utility. And I didn't uninstall Safestrap nether prior to using the utility. Don't know how much those factors played into causing my problem. What I have tried: I have tried RSD Lite 6.1.4 with xml.zip files from the Droid-Developers SBF web site. But i keep getting this fail message, "Failed flashing process. 1/19 flash partition "gpt_main0.bin" -> Phone returned Fail." I have
