problem connecting to wifi, gps

Monday 27th of June 2011 / android.net
Hi,It seems that after I have used my phone for a while (1-2 days), the wi-fi and gps (not too sure about bluetooth) will display an 'error' when I try to connect, even though I do have wi-fi hotspots / am out in the open. The only way I've found to fix this is to reboot the phone, but the problem continues to occur and I have to reboot my phone every other day. This is rather annoying as every time I reboot my phone all my apps are rearranged (or is there some way to get around this other problem as well?)Help on these issues is greatly appreciated!

Battery drain - possibly related to wifi?

Thursday 20th of December 2012 / droidforums.net
I have had the Droid Razr for about a year now and has generally been a pretty good phone. But lately something new has started to happen. The phone will start to get very hot and the battery will drain in a matter of minutes. After testing a few things it appears that it is probably related to the wifi somehow. If I turn the wifi on, it will cycle on/off continuously, the phone overheats, and the battery drains very quickly. Turning the wifi off does not stop the overheating issue. The only way to stop the on/off cycling is to reboot the phone. This issue has already affeected my overall battery performance. Even if I do not turn the wifi on, the battery life is just not what it used to be before the wifi problem started. Anyone know of possible solutions that would allow me to use my wifi again?

Boot problem related to Juicedefender

Tuesday 11th of December 2012 / androidforums.com
I have a phone which is Samsung Galaxy Y Duos and its current android version is Gingerbread 2.3.6 and it is rooted. My problem is that whenever I boot or reboot my phone there is this incident that it would boot up successfully then after more than a minute it freeze for a second and try to reboot again for 2 times and phone shuts down but I've managed to boot it again successfully and use my phone normally. But after that, Juicedefender is always disabled automatically whenever this boot up issue happen. I've checked the JD log and it shows some logs after the boot. It says that: AOSP helper not found or outdated. Regular AOSP installation not possible on android 2.3+. We can *attempt* a dangerous force install of the AOSP helper! Fingers crossed! For now I'm looking for some solutions especially about this AOSP helper. Please provide me with some solutions on how to fix this.

S3 stuck in boot loop due to faulty power switch

Friday 31st of October 2014 / forums.androidcentral.com
Ok here's my problem, my telus S3 is stuck in a power boot loop due to a faulty power switch so this is my question. I watched a video online of how to remove the power switch from your logic board completely which is good because this allows you to turn on the phone using the method of plugging it in than holding volume down and home buttons. So once I do this bam now my phone is on and theres an app i can get called button savior similar to the iphone's assistive touch feature (which i am all too familiar with...), so now heres my big question. Great now I can use my phone with no power button but screw that, I used an iphone 4 with no home button forever and had enough of that. My buddy has an old roger's s3 with a smashed screen he doesn't use, he told me i could have it, cool. Now would i be able to just transplant the logic board from that phone into my telus s3? Or would this cause problems like the phone becoming locked to rogers now or anything like that? I realize I would probably get all his data like contacts and stuff but i could just reset the phone and put my stuff bac
