Phone can't find my SD card music, photos or videos
Monday 24th of January 2011
I can not see any of the music, photos or videos that I added / created on the phone, 'when I browse with the phone's stock apps'. Mediaroom and Settings/Sounds and Gallery won't find any of my music, photos or videos. I CAN find them if I use Astro File Manager or doubleTwist. I can play the songs in MediaRoom IF I open them from Astro. When I DO play a song this way in MediaRoom, instead of an mp3 tag I see the file listed as: Local Audio/mnt/scdard/media/audio/music/ The notifications I added using Ringdroid still work, but the mp3 tone I carried over from my old WinMo phone won't show up in Settings/Sound/Phone ringtone/Music either. Other non-stock media related apps I am using besides doubleTwist are Stitcher, TuneIn Radio. I haven't renamed with any SD card folder names. MORE INFO... I just checked and see that I can't access any of the or videos using the 'Gallery' app either. I can open photos I sideloaded to the 'download' folder from my PC if I use Astro, but I can't find the photos or videos I have taken with the phone. Please Help! Thanks,Steve
What Can I use to play/organize my music?
Thursday 21st of March 2013
... Since I've had my Nexus 7 I've been trying to get used to using the play music thing that has the headphones icon but I HATE it. I hate that sometimes music shows up as unknown artist so it ends up in a folder that says unknown artists. I've tried renaming them but honestly I have no idea what I'm doing.. All I want is to organize my music easily. I want to organize my music and have it all in one folder instead of how it is now, with seperate folders for every artist, and then separate folders for each album by that artist. So, any suggestions? Should I download a music organizer or a different music player or both? All I want is one folder for music and an easy to use music player that just shows all my songs so I can make specific playlists or I can shuffle and have it play all my music, unlike the stupid play music thing on here Cuz when I want to shuffle my music n play it, it never plays all music. Thanks to anyone who can help me out.

Can someone please help me with Music apps?
Tuesday 08th of January 2013
So I was using the Google Music player (The one with the headphone icon) and I wanted to download the music to my device but it was storing it on the Internal memory and filling it up. So I went back to streaming but now the Music Player that came on the phone (the one with the circle icon and the green note on it) can not see any of the music I buy on Google Play. I thought Google music was supposed to be once you bought it it was yours. This is turning out to be worse than iTunes. For one my car does not recognize music on the extSD on the phone via USB it only sees the internal stored music, and I like to connect via USB so I am always charged and then I can use all the vice commands with Ford Sync. I love this phone but I am getting frustrated and I don't want to root unless I have to So any help with the music situation would be so greatly appreciated. Thanks,CHris

In car can't go from bluetooth to music and back
Friday 20th of September 2013
Samsung Galaxy Note 2HELP. In my car, the Bluetooth connects fine and I can make and receive calls. BUT, if I want to listen to music or have voice from navigation go through car speakers, I have to plug in a 3.5mm jack cable, and that's fine, too. Here's where the problem comes in. If the jack is plugged in and a call comes in or I want to make a call, the Bluetooth doesn't engage until I unplug the jack. My old android phone handled this switch with no problem. Is there a mode I'm not finding? Super annoying.

Can't play half my music anymore
Sunday 27th of July 2014
My running playlist was already on my phone and had been for MONTHS and worked completely fine until the new update. Now, half the files are suddenly "unsupported" and can't be played. They're ALL mp3's. They ALL worked fine before. My phone has basically become useless as a media player, which means I can't use my running and training apps either. I need this fixed. This phone has problems EVERYTIME it updates, I stg, I'm about to throw it out the window. Even the typing keyboard is messed up with icons in the wrong place, but that is not my concern. Can anyone help me get my music to play?
