Tuesday 19th of June 2012 / androidforums.com
basically, i just got an htc one v, it has 1gb of internal storage, which i somehow cant access while using the phone, but can from the computer when connected via usb, it also has a 1gb micro sd in it, which i took from my old phone, and it isnt recognising files i put onto that from the computer, even though theyre in the same format as a limited number of files i managed to access from the phone storage area of it. can anyone help? i want to put music onto the memory card and play from that, but it isnt recognised.

Access Phone Internal Memory

Saturday 01st of May 2010 / droidforums.net
Hi everyone,When I plug in my usb cable from my phone to my pc, using the connection type of "disk drive" I see two drives available on my pc. The two drives which one is my sd memory and one is the phone internal memory. I can easily access my sd memory drive but whenever I try to open the drive for the internal memory, it would give me an error of "cant open drive". For some reason after numerous replugging and plugging, I manage to get in the internal memory drive...but after that try, I was unable to replicate it.Long story short, how come I am not able to access the phone internal memory? and why was I able to access it that one time only?Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Massive problems with 4.3 update (urgent help needed)

Wednesday 18th of December 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
I just received the 4.3 update OTA on Sunday, and now i have MASSIVE problems with my phone. my battery is draining rapidly, i cant access any files- My files freezes my phone, i cant download apps, or files from emails, my camera cant save photos, gallery freezes my phone, it reboots randomly, and vibrates randomly. I cant even connect to a PC Sprint recommends a clean wipe, but there are files i don't want to loose. the easy answer is "you should have backed up first" well... i would have had i known it was doing a massive update. i didn't get any warning it was going to download, let alone break my phone. is there any work arounds to get my files off the internal storage, or a new rom onto the sd card to then recover, or even a sideload of a file management app which might be able to read my internal memory? I do not have a PC at home to work from, only an adroid tablet. and my phone is my only Internet source at home.

I have lost everything in my HTC One M7

Tuesday 25th of February 2014 / forums.androidcentral.com
Hi, I have bought my Htc one from USA 9 months ago, it was A&At carrier. I have unlocked the phone and it working very perfectly in last 9 months. while i'm installing KitKat in my device, a massage appear in the screen, saying that installation failed(downloading failed) so i did reboot than. after that i couldn't see anything in my device and continuously restating the device. when i power off and press volume down+power, i can reach boot menu, when i select fast boot, it goes to boot-loader. when i connect the usb to my device to says boot-loader(usb) but i cant access the phone internal memory. i have checked my computer also, but there i couldn't find any HTC icon, so, i failed to past any file in my device internal or SD card memory. i have follow many instruction in many forums but when i try those steps, i have found that every time i says "NO DEVICE FOUND" now i can see only the boot menu and white screen with HTC log in my device. i'm very new about this and pls help me to get back my device normal. my mind is fully dead.

Deleted OS, 0MB internal memory

Saturday 10th of May 2014 / forums.androidcentral.com
I have an HTC One (sprint) and somehow my OS got erased and I cant mount memory (trwp shows 0MB). I tried installing ROM from OTG via TWRP but rom stops at writing data & system and fails. I have s-off so I tried different RUU's, they all go through all the way successfully and when it reboots it stays at HTC letters logo. I tried downgrading hboot from 1.56 to 1.44. I tried to adb push a rom to sdcard, it goes in but just like flashing a rom OTG, it fails. I have tried sideloading, no luck there either. I can access twrp, and bootloader, flash recoveries (anything .img) and windows 7 seems to notice device when connected (makes the little sound). ADB devices also recognizes my phone. So I feel like I've tried it all but no luck, any advice? Thanks in advance. My Verizon Galaxy S3 internal memory comes up blank when I connect it via usb

Saturday 07th of February 2015 / forums.androidcentral.com
Hello, I recently dropped my gs3 and completely shattered the screen; its display is now completely black and unresponsive to touch though the device is still on & functioning. Coincidentally, when I connect it via usb to my computer it shows up completely blank with zero items in the drive even though there are 2 years worth of files on that phone's internal storage. It just shows up as a "portable media player". My phone is set to connect as a media device automatically so I can access the files in my internal drive and sd card but even when I put in an sd card nothing changes. I have tried: - resetting the phone and pc - connecting it to different computers, different ports and with different cables. - using drive recovery software but nothing even recognizes the drive to recover the data- android control (but I cant find path to ADB executable) I really need only a few files from the internal storage so anything that can help me copy even 2 damn megabytes of data would be awesome. Thanks in advance <3
