HELP!! My Pandigital Novel is Acting Very Wierd
Saturday 31st of December 2011
Hi i installed the 4.0 GE firmware From this site -> [ROM] Hybrid Stock 11/19 & OP 1/11 and ive been having problems ever since. first off, it shuts itself off after being in sleep mode for more than 5 minutes. to turn it on i have to push the reset button. Also, I cant get the market working. when it says i have to "Download a free app quickly" i cant seem to do that because it displays no apps... i tried this method on a couple differant ROMS and still cant do it.. (BTW its the non- ugly hack) and last of all, the novel itself is slower than stock.... ): hopefully its just bugs in the 4.0 and im going to try the 3.01 today to see what happens.. if anyone has any suggestions for the market hack, that would be great!! (BTW, i tried the 2 google accout trick also and it didnt work either) I cant also install the factory rom or anyy rom at all. i keep trying to flash it but it wont take any rom i give it..... PLEASE HELP!!!

How to move app from sd card to phone without a file manager?
Wednesday 09th of May 2012
Hello all, Im new to the forum and in need of some help. I just rooted my hero (yes a hero lol) and deleted the gtalk app to free up space. I did this before I backed my phone up. After I did this I became unable to download apps from the market. It gets stuck at "starting download". I did a factory reset hoping this would resolve the problem but it did not. So basically now I have no file manager app or any way to get one from the market. I did find and download the gtalk apk file to my computer and transfered it to my sd card. Now I just need a way to get the file from my sd card to my phone. Ive searched but cant find exact instruction on how to move an apk file from my sd card to my phone without the use of a file manager app. Does anyone know how to acomplish this? Any help would be much apprieciated.
market download not working.
Tuesday 01st of February 2011
I believe i have deleted some kind of important file that automatically installs a app once its been downloaded from the market. I believe i deleted something from my system file, every time i download something from the market i am forced to closing it, i would have to go to my download section in the market and try to get it to install, that was working but i did a factory reset thinking that would fix it and now it doesn't work at all, it says it will download but never even starts. I can still install apps i have on my sdcard and apps from my email but not from the market. i have rom manager saved to my sdcard but i cant get the flash ClockworkMod Recovery to download. it tells me that it cant connect and to check my connection to the wifi (which is fine and yes i did a restart and still nothing) so in short, i deleted something and now cant download anything from the market, also.. my widgets can never work after i shut my phone on and off. it shows a shadow bar and says it cant load widget. this is a list of what is saved in my system file, maybe you can see what i am missing.A
The process com.google.process.gapps has stopped unexpectedly
Monday 17th of October 2011
Hello! I own LG gt540 swift and i rooted it yesterday but soon made a mistake. I uninstalled Gmail, Maps, GTalk etc. Now I'm getting ''The process com.google.process.gapps has stopped unexpectedly.'' error and i can't download from Market.I found gmail, maps and gtalk .apk files on the internet and tried to install them. Now, maps is working well, i installed Gtalk but it doesn't open and gmail.apk i cant install. Before uninstalling anything i made a backup. I tried with factory reset and restore all backups but nothing changes. What should i do now...? Is there any way to restore system applications? EDIT:Market is surprisingly working now, but i'm still geting ''The process com.google.process.gapps has stopped unexpectedly.'' error!

I just got my Atrix today and set it up with my google apps email. The google apps has been migrated to the new version so it works with all good services. It added to my phone nicely and google talk and all other google features work. I cant get to the marketplace. I search an app and it comes up I click install and it says Download was unsuccessful, please try again. Then I decided to try doing it from the webstie and it shows no devices associated with my account. Any help would be appreciated.... I tried everything! Thanks in advance * Fixed: Factory Reset. Repeated procedure.
Why does my internal storage fill up so fast - 8gb "apparently"
Wednesday 01st of October 2014
I have a Haipai S3 knockoff with a custom rooted rom. I wiped the whole phone 3 weeks ago and reinstalled all my apps - moving 70-80% of them to my 16 sdcard. I am reporting 90mb free and cant download anything off the market?? ive used app cache cleaner etc, im now a bit worried that perhaps the "8gb" is perhaps a fake 2gb chip or something? Is there any way to CONFIRM the storage capacity? If i indeed DO have 8gb internal - could someone explain what the android OS install is? Rom i downloaded was 484mb zipped, I wiped everything and did a factory reset, dalvik etc from the custom boot recovery as per the rom install instructions. How can a phone OS possibly use that much space? FYI I stall as much as i can on sd card 7gb free .. im aware of all the basics, however im stumped that after 4 weeks of use its already full, no games, no pics or vids.. ???
