WMP 12 wont upload FLAC file to Tablet/Phone

Wednesday 10th of April 2013 /
Ok. so both my Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 tablet and my Galaxy S3 phone will play flac formatted files without any issues. WMP 12 on my Win 7 PC will play the same files as well. But here is the problem.I used WMP to create playlists containing both flac and mp3 files which I then want to synch/upload to my external SD card of my tablet. Note that these playlists only contain a fraction of all my FLAC files. The entire collection would not fit on a SD card. Anyway....WMP will only upload the mp3 format files and produces an error (format not supported.....) for each flac file within the playlist. Like I said above, these files will play on the tablet.Copying each file contained in the playlist would be too time consuming. Some1 suggested mediamonkey but it would not read my wmp playlists. Itunes is not an option as it does not support flac files..Any1 have any luck synching wmp playlists wit android devices??

Which video format does android support NATIVELY??

Saturday 21st of May 2011 /
Hi @all :-)I am trying to find out which video formats Android (2.1 if it matters) operating system supports NATIVELY (not soft-mode).in the wiki it says: Quote: Android supports the following audio/video/still media formats: WebM, H.263, H.264 (in 3GP or MP4 container), MPEG-4 SP, AMR, AMR-WB (in 3GP container), AAC, HE-AAC (in MP4 or 3GP container), MP3, MIDI, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, WAV, JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP.[60] I have encoded x264 video (high profile) + aac audio and put it in .mp4 container (with Yamb) - and it won't play itH264 includes x.264, or did I miss something?Maybe I need to choose some specific profile?

Galaxy S FLAC tags unknown

Thursday 08th of July 2010 /
Hi all. New here. And my first smartphone, Galaxy S.I primarily went with this phone because of all the goss and talk about the spec, including FLAC support. All I really wanted was a phone that I could play all my music media (mp3, FLAC, and a few aac), and scrobble to I've discovered that the Galaxy S (and other Android phones) cannot read the tags in the FLAC, which renders my phone useless for the main reason I brought it ( requires tags!).Does anyone know what the deal is here? A solution? Is it an Android issue? Any info would be most helpful, as I am on the verge of (attempting) to return the phone. My argument would be that if the spec says that FLAC is supported, this would mean the tags too. It sounds flaky, I think, but does anyone have an opinion on this, FLAC being only partially supported?Cheerio...Ryan

Questions about playing Music on my Memo Pad 10

Monday 06th of January 2014 /
I have 2 questions about putting music files on my MicroSDXC Card and which player to play them with.1) I have the AT&T version of the Memo Pad FHD 10 LTE. I inserted a 64GB MicroSDXC Card in the tablet and it was recognized. I have about 100GB of FLAC song files on my PC and on my Mac, and I want to put about 64GB of them on the MicroSDXC Card. I've never transfered anything to an android device before. On my computer, I have a main folder called FLAC Music, then a folder for each album/CD with the songs in the folders. How do I do the transfer? Is it better to use my PC or my Mac? Can someone take me through the steps?2) There is supposed to be a player already loaded in the tablet upon purchase that will play FLAC songs. Does anyone know which player that is? I believe have a couple of players. Thanks.

Hi! This is my first post here, and I just got my first android phone. I'm not really sure if I am an ***** and finding a music player is really easy or i am doing something wrong, but does anyone know some relatively inexpensive minimalist music players that play .flac files? Thanks a lot, and if it helps, i have an HTC One M9, running 5.0.2 lollipop
