Bluetooth tether for internet after ICS upgrade
Sunday 19th of August 2012
Before the upgrade today I was able to bluetooth tether my ASUS Slider and my Nexus 7 to my Droid 4 and click the Use for Internet Access to get connected for internet use on the tablet. After the upgrade neither one would connect. I read on several blogs that Verizon got their hands slapped for charging to tether so I went to the Tethering and Mobile Hotspot link in Settings. I clicked on the Mobile Hotspot and got a popup about contacting customer service. Then I tried the Bluetooth Tethering checkbox and got no popup and it stayed checked. I can now connect my tablets for internet access. It remains to be seen if my bill goes up this month, but there should have been a warning popup if that was the case. This feature worked fine without checking the Bluetooth Tethering box before the upgrade on this phone and my previous Droid 3. This feature doesn't seem to work on any of my friends phones that aren't Motorola. I don't need the hotspot if the bluetooth method keeps working although it does seem to consume the battery pretty rapidly, have a charge cord handy.

lots of problems after ICS upgrade SGH-I727R
Thursday 16th of August 2012
First off, i have the samsung galaxy S2 LTE (SGH-I727R) from rogers (canada) wich originaly came with the gingerbread OS. usualy the first thing i do with every electronic device is check for the latest firmware updates. so i fired up kies and it said theres an update, when it started updateing the firmware i got an error and im stuck in the odin (with the yellow triangle) screen telling me to reconnect to kies for an emergency firmware recovery, but now kies wouldnt detect/connect to my phone anymore. eventualy after alot of reading i found an "official" ICS firmware upgrade on that sammobile site and managed to install it useing that odin program by k0nane (after 3 or 4 times of failing it finaly passed). So now it sort of works and its officialy on ICS, however it doesnt detect my sim card anymore, WI-FI is sketchy and works sometimes if i turn it off or restart my phone and when i try to add contacts, the screen freezes and i get some kind of error saying contacts has unexpectedly stopped(or something like that). also i made sure to do a factory reset after the upgrade.
I have an HTC Evo Shift. After the upgrade to Google Play
Sunday 06th of May 2012
I have an HTC Evo Shift. After the upgrade to Google Play Store, the app worked for a while, but then I started getting a message that it had stopped unexpectedly. I uninstalled and installed the latest version. If I wipe data, it will open and let me look through the inventory. But if I try to download anything or update any of my apps, it will shut down. It will not reopen until I wipe the data, and then the same process begins again. Any suggestions?Already Tried: Uninstalling and reinstalling latest version and wiping data.
4.1 jelly bean - Low FPS after JellyBean Upgrade
Friday 03rd of May 2013
I bought a Sony Xperia P four months ago. It came with Gingerbread, but was upgradable to ICS. I upgraded it as soon as I got the chance. It was working excellent after the upgrade and didn't give me any chance to complain(except battery consumption). Yesterday I updated the phone to JellyBean(4.1.2), which was just rolled out. And the phone became laggy like any 3 year old phone. I haven't changed any apps, just updated it. And now after more than 12 hours and 5-8 reboots, it's still laggy. I am getting FPS as low as 5 and it's sometimes crashing the apps too. I've read on some forum, that very few people faced the same problem. How can I make it run fast again? Or if there's no other way than can I go back to ICS?
C91 Upgrade Touchscreen not working after firmware upgrade
Sunday 10th of February 2013
Hi All,A couple of months ago I updated my C91 Upgrade (M3C91-1a-h3-SA081-1) to the latest firmware (ZT282_H3_1a_1GB_C91_Android4.0_0818_V1.42.zip).The upgrade process seemed to work fine, but after the upgrade the touchscreen no longer functions at all.I have been trying to get assistance for this from the vendor, but with no look.I have so far tried re-upgrading the unit several times, but to no avail. I have also tried some touchscreen firmware (not exactly sure what this was, but I loaded it in a similar way to the new firmware.Am I using the wrong firmware? Do I need to do something to do with enabling/disabling an autoscript?Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Freezing after Jellybean upgrade
Friday 21st of June 2013
Since the upgrade, what has otherwise been a great experience is occasionally (about once a day) spoiled by a total freeze. The screen freezes and all the soft buttons quit responding. So far I haven't noticed any pattern -- it seems to happen randomly. Sometimes it lasts a minute or two and then goes away. Other times I have to do a hard reboot. This never happened until 4.1.2.Has anyone else seen this? How would you go about diagnosing something like this? Any tips appreciated.
