Bluetooth Audio plays through phone speaker?
Thursday 14th of March 2013
Hi all, I have a samsung galaxy s2 on AT&T running android 4.0.4. I have the bluetooth set up to play audio through my car stereo.Everything was working fine until a couple of days ago when I accidentally booted my phone into safe mode. I re-booted it back into normal mode, but a lot of my settings got messed up after that happened. The odd thing is that now, when I am in my car, the phone connects to the stereo over bluetooth - I see the name of the song, artist, etc information on the car stereo, and can do things like skip to the next song using the controls in the car. However, the sound actually plays through the phone speaker instead of the car speakers!Any ideas how I can fix this? Thanks.
samsung galaxy s3 audio issue on some apps (netflix, twc t.v.)
Monday 24th of December 2012
my wife and i just purchased the s3 with the new jelly bean system and used to have the mesmerize. the problem that were both having is when we downloaded the netflix app and the time warner cable live t.v, app they both play the video but there is no sound at all you can adjust your media volume and still nothing. we un-installed and re-installed both apps and still the same problem on both phones. so i downloaded a radio app and it plays just fine so its not a phone speaker issue. has anyone else had this problem and how do u fix it? i have called samsung and netflix and have been told there are no alerts so they will get back to me.

Samsung Galaxy Mega SGH-i527?
Sunday 24th of November 2013
I lost my phone under the couch cushion and when I found it, It had a crack along the width of it. Everything below the crack doesn't work, which is about 3/4 of the length of the phone. I don't understand how that crack can affect it that much. Would a screen replacement even help? The phone is stuck on speaker phone but I can still talk on it. Please give me some ideas on what I can do to fix this. A screen replacement for this phone is $300 and that's not in my budget. But I have to use the Galaxy version of Siri and all of my texts have to be read out loud and I have to respond by speaking. My privacy is gone. Any help would be great. Thank you
No Audio on Samsung Galaxy S3-T999L
Monday 02nd of December 2013
Yesterday, I realized that no audio was working on my phone. No video, Instagram audio, Pandora, alarm clocks, ringtones, messaging tones, nothing works. I restarted my phone a few times last night, cleared the cache on a number of apps, cleaned out the audio input to remove any dust, and the sound finally started working. Today, the same thing happened, except now it's effecting my phone calls. When I call someone, the call appears to go through, but I can't hear anyone and the person I am calling can't hear me. So there is no sound at all. I've restarted the phone numerous times, cleared the cache on the device, and done virtually everything short of doing a factory reset. When I play a video and put the speaker up to my ear, it makes a slight noise, sort of like a white noise, so it sounds like the speaker still works, but nothing comes out of it. All volume settings are turned up, the blocking mode is off, and 'turn off all sounds' is not checked.I am using Android version 4.1.2. If anyone has any insight on how to fix this, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you!
Help with a Samsung Galaxy Centura speaker.
Sunday 08th of December 2013
I got a Samsung Galaxy Centura a few months ago, shortly after the speaker broke when I was listening to Pandora. A couple months passed, I didn't mind seeing how I could just use the headphone jack, I hit it on something and the speaker started working again. But it died again shortly after. What is a good way just to fix the speaker entirely so I don't have to go out and get a new phone? I highly dread getting a new one because I have a Blizzard mobile authenticator on it. So any help will be highly appreciated, thank you. c:
Bluetooth paired vs 2.5 chord sound night and day difference since update...
Thursday 03rd of July 2014
I upgraded from some other phone to the Samsung Galaxy S5. I was having the same issue with my previous phone after whatever 4.# update. I have two different outdoor tech 2.0 wireless speakers I attach to my bicycle and use to listen to music/answer the phone while I cycle (i don't wear headphones while cycling). This was great until that update and the sound has been almost cut in half from what it was even with the bluetooth turned up all the way. (I tried lowering it and going back to max but that didn't fix it either) I thought it initially was an issue with the speaker but I have the same volume low sound in the other speaker while paired with my phone. When I tried using the headphone aux jack in the speaker and my phone playing the same song the sound is how it once was, MUCH louder and not a speaker problem... Going through all the audio settings/bluetooth on my phone I have no option to adjust the bluetooth any higher or use any affects to change it. Does anyone have a fix to this? I've just been using the aux cable now which is alright but I miss being able to use the butt
Samsung Galaxy S4 speaker making crackling noise after dip in water
Friday 12th of September 2014
Hi, My wife's Samsung Galaxy S4 was dipped in water by our little one and she immediately took it out and removed the battery. Phone was left to dry for 6-7 days. When she put the battery back and switched it on, it worked but started making crackling noise on welcome screen and screen unlocking. Being a techie, I took it as a challenge to fix it. I diagnosed the following problems. 1. I was able to make calls and hear the person on the other side but he was unable to hear me (possible microphone issue). 2. On hands free, called was able to hear me but S4's speakers were making weird noise. 3. On welcome screen (samsung logo) and screen unlock handset was making weird noise. I washed it's motherboard with 70% alcohol and replaced it's mic and speaker. Now mic is working but external speaker still makes weird crackling noise. It works perfectly with car bluetooth and headphones. Can anyone please suggest me what could be the reason and how I can fix it.
Galaxy S4 speaker not working
Sunday 21st of September 2014
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 which is not rooted and less than one year old. Last week the speaker started to stop playing noise every so often and now it plays no sound at all. I've tried turning the sound up, taking it off mute and vibrate, etc. I can hear sound during a phone call but no sounds from the speaker for music, notifications, video, etc. I have taken the battery out and still no sound. I tried pressing *#0*# and testing the speaker button, but no sound comes out. However when I press the low frequency button I can hear the key sound when selecting the frequency. Anyone had this problem or know how to fix it? Might I need a new speaker or could it be my settings? Thanks in advance
How can I fix an echo using an external blue tooth speaker phone using my Samsung Galaxy S-5
Thursday 09th of April 2015
I have no trouble with an echo when using the phone on its own or using its own speaker phone but when I connect to an Eco-Pebble blue tooth speaker phone there is a severe echo received on the other end of the call.
