How to format a 32GB microSD card for Nexus One and Android
Tuesday 20th of April 2010
Google has acknowledged that there is an issue with Android that can create problems when people attempt to format a 32GB card on their phone. Sure, the Nexus One and many Android phones say they support up to 32GB cards, but the catch is that you have to first format the card on your computer; Android can’t do it directly from the phone. A fix for this issue will come with the next OTA update.I’ve always formatted my SD cards on my computer first and never really thought it was that big of a deal to not be able to do it on the phone. To be fair, I always have a microSD reader handy, so maybe other folks aren’t as lucky. If you’re able to load a microSD card on a Windows PC, here’s how to format the SD card.Place the microSD card into your adapter or USB reader. Then put the adapter/reader into your computer’s SDcard/USB slotWait until the AutoPlay notification pops up. Make note of the drive letter, which looks like this (the part that says “Sony Ericsson PC Software (D:)” :Close the AutoPlay window and then go to My Computer (or Computer

Tuesday 04th of June 2013
hi everyoneI bought a trio stealth g2 tablet a month or two ago and the android os it has on it is 4.0 it has never given me the option toupdate through the settings or anything and their website doesn't even mention this tablet.so back at radioshack the guy said something about being able to root the tablet and update it manually. I am pretty good with linux and some coding but I have never owned a android before I found a few websites mentioning roms and rooting the tablet, but they dontsay where or how to do any of the steps. I want to be able to run theofficial apps still so I was planning on sticking with the official android releases. I think I have the app moving down, just click move to sd card in the settings for the apps I don't want to lose. sorry if I misunderstood something, I haven't had much time to look any of it up yet.wow its hard to type of this thing...
