How to: Enter Safe Mode in Jelly Bean
Wednesday 11th of July 2012
If your phone is ever acting extra whacky and you can’t seem to figure out the cause, you may want to try booting into Safe Mode for a bit, an option included in Jelly Bean (Android 4.1). When entering Safe Mode, your phone disables all third party apps, leaving only system apps behind. To enter safe mode, simply press and hold your Power button as you normally would to turn your phone off. When you are prompted to either Power off, toggle Airplane mode, or adjust volumes, long press on “Power off” until you see the Safe Mode menu appear. Press “OK” and boot into Safe Mode.Cheers Tony and @P3droid!…Continue Reading HereHow to: Enter Safe Mode in Jelly Bean – droid-life.com

Droid Mini won't send/receive picture messages
Tuesday 04th of March 2014
I've been trying for weeks now to fix this problem: my Droid Mini suddenly stopped sending/receiving picture messages. My OS is up to date. I tried switching to Verizon Messaging (when I tried to attach a picture it would say "Sorry you can't attach this picture") and then to Handcent (it crashed when I tried to send a picture). I've tried turning off my wifi. I tried a trick where you send yourself a picture, but it didn't work. I tried clearing the data/cache and force stopping the default messaging app.I used to be able to send and receive pictures just fine when i first got the phone for Christmas, and I can still receive pictures in WhatsApp, but not in my texting app. I'm starting to wonder if maybe WhatsApp (or another app) is interfering somehow, and I wanted to try sending a picture in safe mode to test the theory, but I don't know how to turn on safe mode. Back when I was still using the messaging app that came on the phone, I would get a 1 in the counter by the app icon but when I opened the app, I wouldn't have an unopened message. It took me weeks to realize th
Switching from iOS to Note 4 General Questions
Monday 20th of October 2014
Hello! In a brief summary, I have had every version of the iPhone and tomorrow I am plunging into the Android world by getting a Note 4.1) Does fast charging damage the battery? Is it something you do only when needed or is it safe to do every charge?2) How does the battery work in low power mode? Is it what is hyped up to be? If I get below 20 percent on my iPhone 5S, I am running towards a charger.Thank you in advance!3) Anyone know how to turn off iMessage so I get all my texts? And what about my current contacts?4) How long does it take to get used to and familiar with Android?5) For my music, it is all on iTunes. Any cool free apps to sync my music to my Note 4?6) Random question but does the Note 4 come with any headphones like the iPhone? Not a huge deal because I use Beats headphones.Thank you so much!
