Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Update for Samsung Galaxy S2 Released By Three UK
Tuesday 26th of March 2013
The first versions of the Samsung Galaxy S2 got their Android Jelly Bean updates a couple of months ago. Unfortunately for some users, not all the Galaxy S2 devices were updated and many owners are still waiting for that to happen. However, there is good new for the Three UK subscribers as the mobile operator has just started pushing the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for its version of Samsung Galaxy S2. The owners of the smartphone have been expecting the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for a while as the firmware upgrades have been released by other carriers a couple of weeks ago. Even though Three has delayed it Android Jelly Bean rollout, its customers will be happy to hear that the highly awaited updated will be finally received by their handsets.Surely, the Galaxy S2 owners are tired of the old Android Ice Cream Sandwich as now they will have the possibility to enjoy all the cool features included in the Jelly Bean version of the operating system. Also, it’s always nice to see that, event though the past weeks have been filled with Samsung Galaxy S4 news, the older devices
Questions before I buy a Samsung Galaxy Proclaim
Monday 03rd of December 2012
Hey guys I am thinking about changing from a LG Optimus T (T-mobile) to a Samsung Galaxy Proclaim (Straight Talk). I was wondering If anyone had an opinion on the Proclaim. I have read mixed reviews about it but they were mostly about people who didn't understand the features of a smartphone. But just in case there are any real issues with the phone I want to hear them. So please give me some advice The Optimus T has been nothing but a pain. I cannot take it anymore so if someone has another phone for me to try that's around the same price as the Proclaim ($150) for a prepaid service please post it and let me know.Next question I have about the Proclaim is if I purchase the Proclaim what case do I look for when purchasing. I would really like to get an Otterbox if possible. I know that the Proclaim is just a renamed Verizon phone for Straight Talk.Thank you all ahead of time and I am so sorry if this is posted in the incorrect forum. Thanks,Tom

With how deeply embedded Android has gotten with the smartphone and tablet market, it was only a matter of time before Android started making its way over to other electronic devices such as cameras. With hoardes of manufacturers running their stock software, Android brings some great functionality and new, innovative features.Samsung is looking to make some waves with their Galaxy Camera announced at their Unpacked event today. Maybe I’m speaking out of thin air here, but it looks to be one of the first cameras of its kind. Google mandates ‘Powered by Android’ branding on new devices
Wednesday 26th of March 2014
HTC and Samsung have something new popping up on their smartphones every time you boot them up, and apparently the feature was mandated by Google.Android is not a household brand. Google is but, despite having a significant portion of the global marketshare, their smartphone OS is not. And as long as hardware manufacturers are allowed to design their own user interfaces for Android, it’s going to be very difficult for the average consumer to look at a Nexus 5, an HTC One M8, and a Samsung Galaxy S5 and know that they are all running the exact same operating system. Google is hoping to change that, and one method the company has started to use is mandating that the phrase “Powered by Android” be present during the boot animation on new phones.Fire up a new HTC One M8 or a Samsung Galaxy S5 and you’ll see the phrase prominently displayed beneath the logo for the company. More than just text, HTC and Samsung are both using the classic Android logo that was originally used as the boot animation on the original Android phone, the HTC G1.It’s unclear if this b
