Video streaming on Android phone - Is it slow?

Wednesday 17th of October 2012 / androidforums.com
Hi everyone! I'm considering getting an Android Phone (I've never had a smart phone before) and cancelling my home internet to save money by paying only one bill for both phone and internet. But I'm wondering if I will be able to watch streamed videos (like TV shows, movies, YouTube videos) from my Android phone? Or will it be too slow?I'm not sure if the type of Android phone matters, but I might be getting the Kyocera Rise.Thank you!

Hi my name is...

Kelvin and I am an Android addict too. :lol:Used to have a HTC Magic but it was painful to use as the processor was too slow and there wasn't enough memory. So I got rid of it and brought a Nokia X6. The X6 is a great phone and camera but as a touch based device it is useless. The Ovi store is full of absolute rubbish, not a patch on Android Market. I have started to miss it entirely! I like the X6 as a phone but want my Android back!Played with an iPod touch and want something similar running android. Looked at the Archos 5, like the idea, but want a capacitive touchscreen not a resistive. Although liking the idea of the MSI Windpad at 10". Pocketable would be better tho :lol:So that is me, waiting for all the companies to actually start releasing these tablets...

Way too slow!

Saturday 17th of December 2011 / forums.androidcentral.com
Hi! I've had an Acer Iconia A100 tablet since early August. For the last few weeks, it has been very slow. When I start it up, it takes like at least 5 minutes (no exaggeration!) before you can even unlock the screen. Then from time to time it is really slow to respond to taps or altogether unresponsive (i.e. it stays stuck on a particular screen and doesn't respond when I press any onscreen button, the back button, the home button and even the power button). Then This all has made for a very disappointing experience. Is there a fix for this? I am a new android user - the A100 was my first experience with android (though now I have a few more).

My wife keeps disconnecting. .how do i fix this

Wednesday 15th of January 2014 / androidforums.com
I have a galaxy s4, my wife keeps disconnecting because it I am being told my connection is too slow so android just disconnect s it automatically. My signal is fine when I try to reconnect (2-3bars). It will keep doing this every few minutes and is the most ANNOYING thing I think I have probably ever experienced in a phone. I am wondering if there is a way to turn off this feature of android or some app I can get that will disable it. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated

Lollipop restarting and too slow to starting

Thursday 26th of February 2015 / forums.androidcentral.com
Good afternoon staff.I updated my phone Moto E XT1025 for Android Lollipop, and would like to inform the following points Positives:The RAM memory is being consumed much less.Applications open faster, especially using the whatsap.Appearance more elegant and simple, practicality has been improved, device settings were organized more easily and simple to handle. In general, there were improvements in all aspects. Negatives:The mobile this restarting of nowhere, sometimes even with charged battery, and without being thumbing it, the device powers off and on alone, this happens about 5 times every day.And the startup very time consuming device, too slow to turn on the Motorola, logo is for several minutes, each 4 to 5 minutes +/- until the appliance is available for use, and even after starting, it is too slow to to be used I have to wait a few more minutes until the system to become at normal speed.
