My phone keeps rebooting, and vibrates continuously.

Monday 08th of February 2010 / droidforums.net
Everything seemed going well.Been using the phone for a while with no complaint.I did something that i usually do.Here is what i did : Pulled out the battery and SIM Card Put another SIM Card in Powered the phone up.Then : this problem appeared : the Android logo appears, after few seconds the phone starts vibrating then reboot...this occurs again and again....If i leave the phone vibrates, the phone will turn on after few times (5-7)of rebooting ...but it's really hard to change the phone setting coz : each time i touch, there will be a "Force close" message appears -> can't do a thing..I have no idea what is going on !Here is what i tried:Tried hard-reset : Power button + Cam shutter -> Volume up + Cam shutter - > the thing is still there...Tried to use RSDLite to do the " flash " thing to restore the core system (correct me, if i'm wrong). Downloaded the "SBF" package for UK milestone. Hope someone there gets what i'm trying to say... my English is bad Anybody has any idea about this...gosh...i'm dying ...I'm not a teckie.

Android Forums - View Single Post - Support 'Recent Activity'

Friday 23rd of March 2012 / androidforums.com
Hello! So very often I will be on my phone texting or whatever and suddenly my phone will start vibrating like crazy and going to random places off and on like Home then Search and it always ends up going to Recent Activity. It isn't hurting anything I guess but it drives me crazy! I do have a screen protector on it and it's pretty scratched but there aren't any scratches on the phone screen itself that would be pressing the buttons instead of me...I'm not sure why it keeps doing this. Whenever it does, I press the off button and turn it back on and then it stops but it's super annoying.Does this ever happen to any of you? Any idea why this keeps happening and what I can do about it? Thanks!

My lock screen isn't showing up on my android

Tuesday 01st of May 2012 / androidforums.com
I changed the battery in my phone, and when I turned it on, my lock screen wasn't showing! I can see the notification bar on the top with the time, and it constantly fluctuates between having signal or not having any. The rest of my screen though is just blank, and my phone keeps vibrating the way it does when one of my apps crash. I tried rebooting my phone and taking out the battery and putting it back in, but it's just not working, and i don't know what to do. I have a samsung galaxy vibrant, if it matters. i cant even get into my phone :c help!

Note3 proximity sensor issue during calls

Monday 14th of October 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
This was happening to an user in the Galaxy S4 forum. It is also happening to my Note3:I'm trying to figure out if I have a hardware or a software problem, and I'm leaning toward a software bug. I noticed that when making a call the screen blanks out when putting it up to my ear, but it doesn't turn back on again until I hit a physical button. I played around with the test mode (*#0*#) and found out that the proximity sensor activates fine, but after I remove the phone from my ear the readout keeps saying "PROXIMITY: 1" and the phone keep vibrating/the screen stays green. The ADC counts go down to normal levels, though. It implies to me that the sensor itself is working OK, but the software filter that looks at the value isn't working correctly. Could someone else with a Note3 dial *#0*#, run the sensor test, and pay attention to the Proximity section as they put their hand over the screen and remove it? I really want to know what the PROXIMITY value does when the hand is removed and if the phone stops vibrating Posted via Android Central App

GS4 is completely bricked, because I'm stupid

Thursday 10th of April 2014 / androidforums.com
I'd been trying to unroot and reinstall Android after having a terrible Cyanogenmod experience. I tried downloading Odin and the stock rom, but Odin wouldn't recognize the rom (I found this rom on sammobile.com). I then tried the mobile Odin app, and tried to flash the rom that way. Nope... BRICKED. All it does is boot to the Galaxy S4 screen, and then dies again (and for some reason keeps vibrating). Took several tries but I finally got it to go into ODIN download mode. So now I'm trying to download a different stock rom from stockrom.net, and that's currently taking 4 hours to download to my PC. I'm hoping to try Odin again but with this different rom... but now I'm terrified I've permanently bricked my phone and I'm just screwed. Yes, I'm a really optimistic person.Does anyone know how to SUCCESSFULLY unbrick a phone? I am freaking out here.

Galaxy s2 - Turns on halfway then vibrates every 2 secs. (Wet indicator RED)

Friday 19th of September 2014 / forums.androidcentral.com
Hello, I'm quite new to this forum. *My s2 for the past 3 days have been turning off and on, each day gets worser. It turns on the Android screen halfway then shuts off and vibrates nonstop. For the first and second day I was trying to wiggle my lock button and it would help and this problem usually fixes it for a majority of the time until today it turned off and keeps vibrating with no chance of phone working normally but the farthest is going to the android logo. I looked in the back of my phone, took off the battery and on my phone the square indicator was red not the battery. I didn't know what to do besides putting it in rice with a ziplock bag which is still in there right now

Problem charging my samsung galaxy s4, but the battery is fine

Saturday 11th of October 2014 / forums.androidcentral.com
Hey i have a galaxy s4 witch i have lent by my stepmother because my other samsung is so slow, a slow version of android.I was out in the rain, and i don't mean just rain, it was a heavy rain storm her in Norway and rained about 70-80mm yesterday. I did not pic up my phone, but left it in my pocket. I guess it might have been a little humid in the pocket but i did think about it. When i got home i made dinner and i forgot my phone in my jacket.I took it up later after dinner and used it until til was about 20% left and then i plugged the charger in. I heard the vibration, but i didn't really catch if it was charging or not. But later in the evening my phone suddently turned itself off and i saw that i was not charging at it should. Each time i put the charger in, the sign for USB connection pops up at the top and the phone keeps on vibration each minute without no action. I tried drying it in a heatcloset (manly for clothes) for 2 hours with 30degrees celsius, but that didn't seem to help. It have charged for over an hour now while it is off, still vibrating and no typically signs of
