I have samsung model SPH-M920 transform, OS Android 2.2.2.
Monday 27th of February 2012
I have samsung model SPH-M920 transform, OS Android 2.2.2. I have converted the jar files to APK files and still no luck in getting it to work? I have followed all the instructions, 5-6 times. I think the problem lies in the converting of the .jar files to .apk file. The web site, netmite for converting keeps shutting down on the download/converting process. The J2me runner keeps shutting down. If you can send me the converted files or the APK files I need to load this program great, Also, if you would like to install it over the computer to me phone great, that will work as well. Thank you,Bob LesterAlready Tried: Tried Netmite, to convert jar files to apk files which failed miserably, I am trying to load cell-control on my android. The company says it works, and I have seen some people say they got theirs to work. I have followed the instructions to the 't' 4-5 times yet nothing. I got a splash screen to come on but then it disappears and I am back to the home menu picture.I think the trouble rest with converting the files but I don't know.
external sd - Phone Shuts Down, Apps Force Close Since New SD Card
Saturday 31st of December 2011
I've got a Sony Ericcson Xperia Play that comes with an 8GB microSD card, which is definitely not enough for me as I like to put a lot of music on my phone (streaming is very poor on my network). So I bought a Sandisk 32GB MicroSDHC Class 4 Memory Card which is a MicroSD card like any other, right?Ever since I put the card into my phone, my phone keeps shutting down and nearly all apps have a Force Close error. I've not installed any new apps since installing the new MicroSD and I've even uninstalled a bunch to see if it would help. Why does my new MicroSD break my phone? If it helps, I'm running Android 2.3.3 stock.
Android Forums - View Single Post - Support help! my sensation keeps shutting down randomly
Monday 12th of December 2011
I'm two months into a contract and my phone has been randomly shutting down since day 1. It's safe to say this issue has been affecting my work/life. According to my provider, this issue falls within the 1 year manufacturer's warranty despite paying for extended coverage through my provider. I've been patient with this; I've reset the phone and avoided apps as per HTC tech support but I just got my sensation back from the HTC/Provider authorized 3rd party repair centre for Canada... for the SECOND round of repairs. They did a complete overhaul: replaced the motherboard, the LCM (LCD) screen, chassis and side ring. The phone continues to shut off (while plugged in, while on desk, while in pocket)! I've been on the phone forever over the past week. I've called HTC, they transfer me to my provider, then I'm bounced to HTC Warranty and Repairs, then over to the Authorized repair centre, then back to HTC. My case was finally escalated to corporate. Within ten minutes, I got a call from the HTC escalation team and was delivered the disturbing news: HTC does not have a replacement policy

Android System Shutting Down - HELP
Friday 14th of October 2011
Help me please! I am running 2.3.3 and my Sony Ericsson X10 keeps on shutting down on me. It doesn't matter what I'm working on, either browsing web, playing games, texting, it doesn't like to stay on. I have performed the factory reset 2 times and reinstalled the OS 2 times as well. Last night I did it again and without downloading any apps, I browsed the web and it did it again! Any thoughts? Will rooting the phone help? Is it the motherboard? ThanksWill

Pulled out battery before phone finished shutting down
Saturday 28th of May 2011
I was shutting my phone off to change batteries. I was not paying attention, and I pulled the battery before the phone was completely shut off. Now it will force close most of the apps on my phone, cannot find the apps I placed on my SD card, and all my amazon appstore apps have issues because my appstore app keeps force closing. I'm running stock Android 2.2. I wonder if the system was corrupted, but if so, how do I fix it? I haven't tried a factory reset yet because I suspect a software issue. Does anyone have any advice?
Phone keeps turning off?
Wednesday 19th of February 2014
Hi all, I have a Galaxy S4 running android 4.3. Recently it's been randomly shutting off. I ride a motorcycle and most of the time when I get home the phone is off. If I try to turn it on it just goes into a reboot loop and the only way to stop it is to plug it into the charger. At first I thought maybe that the power button gets pressed somehow in my bike jacket pocket and hard shuts it down. But it keeps doing it. Also I was using it whilst sitting in my house and it just randomly shut off. I'm not too sure whether it does it at a certain percentage or not or whether it only does it when a lot of memory is being used, which I doubt as I'm obviously not using it when it's in my pocket. Another thing, and I don't know whether it's related or not, but when it shut off the other day whilst I was using it I thought If I took the battery out and back in would it let me boot it up without the need for a charger. But no it didn't work. I plugged it in and then when it came on the language had changed to Slovakian. Looking on other posts about this some say it's a bad battery. I have AVG

Samsung Galaxy S2 keeps randomly starting, and then immediately shutting down?

My phone was almost dead (like 2% battery), so I plug it in to the charger. The charger I use kind of loose, so if my move my phone much, it stops charging. I keep using my phone, so it doesn't charge up very well. It shut down once, but after a few minutes of charging I was able to start it in order to continue a conversation. (I know, stupid me should have just let it charge.) Anyways it shuts down again due to low charge and I just let it charge this time. I do something else for about 10 minutes, and when I look back at my phone, I see an odd screen. The upper right corner says "Factory Mode" and some other stuff (I don't remember). In the center is the android symbol and, underneath that, "Do not turn off target." So I take the battery out of my phone. I know, stupid me again. I put it back in, put the charger back in, and try to start my phone. The little buttons at the bottom flash a little, but nothing happens. I decide to let it go for a while, thinking it just needs to charge. Now, it remains on the charger. Occasionally (every 15-30 minutes or so), it g
