Need Help With Storage on Android Phone
Friday 05th of October 2012
Hello,I just bought my first Android phone, LG Optimus L3 with Android 2.3.6.It's not the best one, but it could be enough to discover Android This phone has only 157Mo memory system (there should have 384MB at the total, including the system). There has also 1GB of internal memory. And I added a 16GB Mini-SD.But it looks like I can use the Mini-SD as USB Key only? There is 34Mo free in the system memory only, so I can't download a lot of new application! There are some applications I can move from the system memory to the internal memory, but not all the applications have this option (the button is off)!Is it normal to not be able to transfer some applications to the internal memory? Is it possible to transfer applications directly to the Mini-SD (instead of internal memory)?Does the latest versions of Android (like 4.0 ICS) offer more features for the storage management?Because I could perhaps take another phone like HTC Desire C style running Android 4.0 ICS.Thanks for your help Chris

Need help with internal phone storage(memory) and sd card storage
Tuesday 13th of September 2011
I have a Samsung prevail ...as most of u know it comes with a 2gb SD card. Now it recently has been telling me that phone storage is low. I have about 400 pictures and a handful of background downloaded (8 in total). Only about 12 Alps downloaded, not including the ones that came with phone. I figured I'd delete some Alps and upgrade my SD card to an 8gb. Did that and still am having issues with phone memory. Need HELP ASAP. Any suggestions on what to do? The apps I've downloaded I do utilize and would love to be able to get back..any suggestions or advice I would greatly appreciate

Okay, so I am running out of internal space on my Optimus F3 (LG-P659 (4.1.2)). I decided to go to Walmart, and buy an Micro SD card and it will add to my storage for apps. Boy was I wrong, I had no clue that that doesn't apply to downloading apps to your external SD. I have been searching for days on how to switch your internal SD for your external, put apps onto your external, and a bunch of other crap. I really need some help on this, because I am the type of person who downloads a bunch of heavy games. Even if I could actually transfer all of the game files to my external SD, I don't have enough memory on my internal to download it in the first place with all of my other apps uninstalled. (by the way, I already rooted my phone) I would appreciate it very very much if someone could help me with this problem. Thanks.

I need help with storage issues on my LG Optimus
Tuesday 04th of February 2014
Hello everyone, I am new and I am not in any way very computer or android literate so I need very easy language. Sorry, my old brain and some medical issues do not make it easy for me to retain or understand complex details. I moved all of my apps that were able to be moved to my sd card. I was just trying to update an app and was told I didn't have enough space. It shows my internal drive is almost full from the apps. I don't understand why. Also, I use clean sweep daily to removed junk, cached info etc. I'm not sure what data is ok to remove or not??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Need help with storage on Samsung Galaxy S4
Sunday 21st of September 2014
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4, running 4.4.2. I have 16 Gigabytes of internal storage, and a 64 Gigabyte MicroSD Card. I only have one gigabyte of available space on the internal memory. This is only because I spent all morning clearing it. When that free space gets down to about 300 MB, I can no longer install apps. Is there a way that I can make everything store on my MicroSD card? It seems like such a waste to have a large card and not be able to use it much. I know that you can move files using My Files, but it never works smoothly; I select all files and Move to SD Card, but it always stops transferring part of the way through. Please help me, I really need it.
