Not registered on network error
Wednesday 11th of April 2012
Hi.,..I am more than fed up with this phone..I have samsung galaxy skyrocket llWhen I first purchased this phone 4 months ago an error occured that required a new phone be sent. It is a new phone from the factory. The second phone throws me the following error message MOBILE NETWORK NOT AVAILABLE quite frequently. It happens at any location, in the middle of calls causing it to disconnect, when sitting idle...the solution is to pull the battery and sim and then reinsert and reboot. Often I have to do that 3 or 4 times in a row before I get back on the network. Last night it happened and this time nothing helped...rebooting, reinserting SIM...I checked the SIM on a retired LG Neon and it is working just fine. Next I checked for firmware updates and found one I hadn't done, so I downloaded and installed. The phone is now showing im on a network but now the error message reads NOT REGISTERED ON NETWORK. I looked for solutions online and found that most required going into the mobile networks setting to add an apn etc...but when I try to go to mobile networks it says INSERT SIM TO ACCESS

SIM works on other phones. Other SIMs (including different carriers) do not work on this phone.IMEI is not blocked by provider. You see antena bars full.Tried in different areas of the City (I live in a capital)Removed battery. Turned on/off dozens of times.Did factory resetDid hard resetUpdated to the latest AndroidNo recent upgrades or contract changes.Worked perfectly for 5 months wihtout similar issues (a few times It got frozen so had to remove the battery)The day this error appeared first time I noticed the battery was dying. Basicaly I took it fron charger at 8.30am (battery 100%). At 9am placed a phone call. Didnt touch it till 13pm wheb I tried to call again. Noticed the battery at 12% only and No Registered to Network error.Interesting detail: randomly, twice a day but in different hours it actually works and makes me call or text at it should. But only for some 10-20 minutes. Then it

hi, i bought a second hand samsung galaxy s3 off ebay, its unlocked to any network, however, whenever i put ANY sim card in, it will say registered to network, but it always says emergency calls only and whenever i try and make a call, it comes up, network not registered, now ive read all over the internet to try and figure out the problem, no its not blocked i checked the imei several times and i contacted the seller, they cant understand why its not working, they said the last thing they did was reset the phone, they were recently on 3 network and it was initially vodafone but was unlocked, they offered for me to send it back for them to have a look but i cant be bothered with all that caffuffal, so going to try sort the problem myself, so far i have tried numerous sims, including vodafone and 3, still same problem, i have reset the phone myself several times also. could it be something to do with the settings possibly? any suggestions please?.... oh also if i ring the number of the phone it rings but my phone doesnt ring? if u get that.

Not registered to network after upgrading to Jelly bean 4.1.2
Tuesday 03rd of September 2013
I recently upgraded my Android system from 4.1.1 to Jelly bean 4.1.2 I successfully downloaded via Odin but as soon as the phone restarted i noticed there was no network at all. When i tried to dial and call i got the message " not registered to network" I tried to select the mobile service provider manually but it just says Registered to ECONET, but still says emergency calls only. What could be the problem and what is the solution. Tried everything for the last 24 hour but no solution.
not registered on network

I just got a Samsung Galaxy S3 mini (unlocked EUR), Model GT-I8190N, Android version 4.1.2 (Consumer Cellular service - my daughter got a Galaxy Y and it works great!) I got it to recognize my wifi at home but wouldn't use 3g outside. When I went to another location with wifi, it told me "not registered on network". I could get internet but not make a phone call. I did a factory reset and it updated. Now I get "not registered" at home. What can I do? what other information can I give you? I am really not savvy to any smart phone "stuff". I wanted to add my sim, use my phone and learn about it on the way.I've read some posts that say to use the file "ariza_JBv02.zip" . What does it do? Is this the right thing for my problem? I'm really afraid to mess it up.I'm hoping someone can help me.Thank you

I know what an OS is and I was able to find all the phone information but I wanted to just add my sim, use my phone and learn about it on the way. I didn't know this would be such a problem. I've read some posts that say to use the file "ariza_JBv02.zip" . What does it do? Is this the right thing for my problem? I'm really afraid to mess it up. I'm hoping someone can help me, please.
