Folders are empty after a restart Note 3/ jb 4.3

Tuesday 01st of October 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
I posted this on Note 3 forum but didn't get help so I thought I will post it here !! Hello everyone, I have problem with my note 3. When i go to apps drawers to create folder with the apps i want, it works great until i restart my phone. After the restart, I only see empty folders while the apps are still in the apps drawer. This is what I have tried so far.- move apps from SD to device to SD again- move apps to device- unmount SD and restart- Factory reset Still the apps will be gone from the folders after a restart, but the folders will be there with the name i gave it. This only happens in the app drawers, but not if I created a folder in the widget page. Any help are appreciate it

unable to get to secret code screen

Thursday 09th of January 2014 / androidforums.com
I am unable to get to the secret code screen. I am trying to get there to turn off the wifi power saving because I am having connection issues with my s3. I had done this in the past and it worked. After I updated to the newest jellybean 4.3, it went back to having issues. I have typed in *#0011# and multiple other combos, but it just stays on my phone screen. It does not go to the secret screen. Any help with either issue is much appreciated. Verizon Samsung s3 jellybean 4.3

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Android 4.4.2 Update Rolled out to Fix 3rd Party Accessory Bug

Wednesday 19th of February 2014 / feedproxy.google.com
Back in January, Samsung released the Galaxy Note 3 Android 4.4.2 OTA update for certain Europe and Asia-based markets. Even though the new firmware arrived with all the KitKat goodies, it also brought an annoying issue. After the Galaxy Note 3 was updated to Android 4.4.2, may users complained that their 3rd party smart flip covers no longer worked with their devices. In the first instance, the folks at Samsung said that the 3rd party accessory issue has nothing to with the new firmware, but they admitted afterwards that a bug is preventing the Note 3 owners to use their covers, also promising that an update that fixes the problem will be issued as soon as possible.About a month later, the Android 4.4.2 OTA update that comes to address the aforementioned issue is being pushed to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 owners. According to Sammobile the first countries to receive the new update are Poland and Russia and the firmware is labeled N9005XXUENB3. Of course, other regions will follow in the near future..androidgs-mid { width: 300px; height: 250px; float:left; padding-right:5px;}@media(

Galaxy Note 3 Android 4.4.2 Update Hits the UK

Tuesday 11th of March 2014 / android.gs
Back in January, the folks at Samsung released the Galaxy Note 3 Android 4.4.2 update for the international variant of the handset, but, for some reason the software update wasn’t made available for download in the UK. Now, the Galaxy Note 3 owners in the UK are reporting that the Android 4.4.2 OTA update has started to hit their devices. The Android 4.4.2 KitKat update is now headed to the Note 3 models in the BTU region code, but it was reported that the new firmware is also being rolled out at some of British carriers. Of course, we are talking about a staged roll out, which means that some of you might not be able to download and install Android 4.4.2 KitKat on your Note 3 right away. If the update is ready for your devices you should see a system update message in the notification area, but, sometimes, you can find the new firmware by performing a manual update. In order to do so you must head to Settings > More > About Phone > System Update > Check for updates. Alternatively, you can connect the smartphone to the PC using the USB cable and check for the Android

Galaxy Note 3 Links don't direct me to my apps but opens up in the Internet browser instead.

Monday 30th of March 2015 / forums.androidcentral.com
I've already installed apps for Facebook, LinkedIn, and others on my Note 3. However, whenever I tried to get to them from links on emails or other notifications, it directs/takes me to the Internet browser instead of opening the apps automatically. And I'm logged on to all the apps. Anyway, when I get an email to do something, I have manually open the app and search for the task. I hope I've explained myself clearly enough. Can someone help me fix this problem? TIA.
