USB Storage Blank or Has Unsupported File System?

Monday 28th of January 2013 / android.net
I just accessed my gallery and it comes up with no items, and a message that says "SD card being used as a mass storage device". I cant take pictures because when i press the camera it says "Turn off USB storage before using camera".In the notification center, there's a message that reads "Blank USB storage - USB storage blank or has unsupported file system"This has happened all of a sudden, i haven't changed anything on my phone, it was just spontaneous and has never happened to me before.

2.2 froyo - Android 2.2 - External SD card not working - says "Blank External SD card" -- Why?

Sunday 19th of December 2010 / android.stackexchange.com
OS: Android 2.2Device: Samsung Galaxy SAll of a sudden my external SD card has stopped working.Error Notification:> Blank External SD card> > SD card blank or has unsupported file system. The last thing I did before this was to record some video, which was set to record to the external card, and then plugged it into USB. I also installed USB drivers for the phone from Softpedia as Windows wasn't recognaising it by default. After installation the phone's memory showed up as a removable disk but the external card did not. Then after unplugging the device from the PC I had that error in the notification bar.How do I recover my SD card? Do I need to format and therefore stand to lose the data on it?

"SD Card blank or has unsupported file system"

Wednesday 29th of December 2010 / androidforums.com
So I downloaded the latest OTA update last night, and it installed just fine (phone worked fine, etc). I went to bed later last night, then when I woke up this morning, I got a "SD Card blank or has unsupported file system" message! The first message I got was actually something a bit different. Unfortunately, I can't remember exactly what it was, but I clicked on the notification and it tried to do something with the SD Card (probably remount it or something), and ever since I've been getting the "SD Card blank or has unsupported file system" thing. Now my only option given when I click on this notification is to format the SD Card. This is really annoying; I don't want to format my card and lose all the data! Are there any 'fixes' for this? I noticed a lot of people had this problem with the original HTC Desire.P.S. I haven't rooted my phone or anything like that, so that wouldn't be an issue.Edit: I tried all the usual stuff such as rebooting, taking the battery out, reseating the mem card, etc, numerous times to no avail. I got so tired of it that I just tried t

My SD card is blank or has unsupported file system, what should I do?

Friday 12th of June 2015 / forums.androidcentral.com
I use a Moto G 2nd gen. I've had it for about two months. I went to transfer photos onto my SD card, and it wasn't registered on my phone. I did the typical on-and-off-again, take-it-out-and-reinsert-it, didn't work. It eventually recognised my SD card but every time I tried to mount it, it would say 'SD card is blank or has unsupported file system'. There was an option to "format your SD card", and I tried it, to no avail. I put the card into my Macbook and ran Disk Utility over it, and it didn't detect any errors. I tried erasing all the data on my SD card (somehow that option was available on my phone and laptop) and that didn't work either. What do I do?
