Error - Unfortunately, S Note has stopped working

Saturday 09th of February 2013 / androidforums.com
This is a factory default Galaxy Note 10.1Whenever I try to open the "S Note" application, I get the error message listed above. "Unfortunately, S Note has stopped", the application doesn't finish loading and then closes.I have not rooted this Galaxy. This started after I allowed my tab's batteries to run almost all the way down and I allowed it to recharge to 100% overnight. I booted it today, went to start the app, and I got the above error.I tried clearing the cache, rebooting, forcing the app to stop... and nothing.Any suggestions?I'd prefer to clear the data since I have information on there I need.

Unfortunately, My Gallery has stopped working ?? - Page 2

Wednesday 11th of July 2012 / droidforums.net
Replying to my own post... I also tried clearing the data for My Gallery app, and now My Library will open. However, as others have mentioned, changing to Albums view causes the error and force close. After that, data must be cleared again to open My Library. Kinda sucks cause I prefer the Albums view. Looking forward to that rumored patch in the works. As a side note, I turned off "Display friends' activities" in My Gallery settings cause I don't need to see that every time I open My Gallery... but when I open My Library, it very briefly and inexplicably shows a recent social media post (ie. an image from a facebook friend's wall post) before it successfully loads My Library. Awesome programming. Maybe this should be patched too? Maybe its part of the problem even?

Unfortunately, S Note has stopped working.

Wednesday 26th of June 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
Every time I try to open S Note I get the above message. This is really frustrating because I have some important work stuff in there. I'm on the latest stock rooted rom for the T-Mobile version from (I'm on the 6/2 release Odexed version). I'm not sure if this started happening after flashing that, but I think it did. I backed up my S Note folder, and I've tried wiping the data, freezing unfreezing the app, all kinds of stuff. I have no idea what to do. I can still double tap with the S Pen to take a note, and it'll save it, but after that I can never open it again. I really need some help. Thanks everyone.

Direct Input has Stopped Error

Sunday 20th of October 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
The note 3 was working just fine, until we powered it off to insert in an microSD (64GB Sony Class 10). We removed the battery before we realized the microSD was to be inserted above the SIM card. After we inserted the sd card in, and turned on the phone, it would lag horribly and constantly give the message "Unfortunately, Direct Input has Stopped." We did nothing with the pen, so I have no idea why it's having this issue. The phone is horribly slow now to the point of freezing. We have powered off, and take out the SD card (which, btw, is brand new from packaging, completely empty). Rebooting and powering down/up did not fix the issue. Does anyone know how to fix this? The phone is stock, unrooted.

Action Memo to Browser stopped working...

Monday 16th of December 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
So Verizon issued a software up for the Galaxy Note 3 over the weekend (12/14/2013). After updating my phone, I noticed that the Action Memo app is no longer working properly. When I write a note and click the browser link to search the web for what I wrote, I get a message that says "Unfortunately, Action Memo has stopped." All the other Action Memo features, like sending the note to contacts, email, task, etc. is working fine but the browser link won't work. It's driving me crazy and I'm trying so hard not to have to do a factory reset as it is very cumbersome to try and get the phone settings back to the way I have it. One thing I also noticed (not sure if it's related or not), when I click on "Settings", scroll down to Accounts, click on "Samsung account", then click on "Storage usage", then click on "Memo, S Memo, S Note (.snb)", I get a message that says "Unable to open file. There is no application to open it with." Why would it say no app to open with when Action Memo is installed and should open? Any assistance in t

Unfortunately, S Note has stopped working

Tuesday 29th of April 2014 / forums.androidcentral.com
Please give me some ideas to fix this. I've tried clear cache and data. Still doesn't fix the problem. This stupid error is impacting numerous things on my phone. Cant save wifi networks and other things are going haywire. This is my first android and I've had it since October and I'll be honest I'm ready to go back to iPhone. I've had nothing but errors with this phone, from loss of wifi and gps, to slow system, to crashes, and apps that don't compare to iOS. I want to really give android a shot but this last error is really sending me over the top now.

Settings has stopped working

Saturday 01st of November 2014 / forums.androidcentral.com
Hello to all, I have a Nexus 7 2012, the 32GB Wi-Fi & 3G versionIt is running Android 4.4.4 right now My problem is that when I go the the applications manager settings (where you can see the App Info), and I go and click on an app that I want to uninstall, a message comes up, saying "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped, it I am running Action Launcher Pro (but I have been running it for a while now) and since the launcher has the option to quickly get into an app's info setting by holding it down and pressing App Info. The same settings message comes up again. Another thing to note is that I have gone into recovery mode and wiped the system cache, if that makes a difference to finding a solution. Please if someone could help, that would be awesome.
