Samsung Gear Manager screenshots make an appearance Online

Thursday 29th of August 2013 /
In a few short days the world will finally get their first look at the Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch. We know that the Gear will be showcased on September 4th at IFA in Berlin. At least, that is what a Samsung Executive said in an interview the other day. We are pretty confident that it will happen. A new leak has just surfaced this afternoon from @evleaks that shows off two important screenshots of an application that will accompany the Gear smartwatch, the Gear Manager.Looking at the two images you can see a few pretty great things. FIrst, the watch will have NFC. All you have to do is tap the watch to the back of your device and connect the smart watch to your device automatically via Bluetooth. That’s pretty simple and awesome right there. Sure, you can connect manually if you want to, but where’s the fun in that. Looking at the manager app, you can see the Gear model number listed as SM-V700. You can also see a variety of apps and settings that are available to cruise through. I can see that you should be able to change the clock face with ease and manage all your

Mini Gallery App

Tuesday 08th of October 2013 /
There is an app called mini gallery where you can see all the pics on your phone gallery on upur galaxy gear. Go into your gear manager and into Samsung apps and do a search for mini gallery. Once downloaded restart your device. The first time it loads it takes a little. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk 4

Galaxy Gear NOT Compatible with GN 10.1 2014 WiFi Edition

Sunday 08th of December 2013 /
So I have the GG, the GN3 and a GN 10.1 2014 Edition (wifi) and I was wondering where the hell the GG Manager apps is on the GN 10.1 and why I couldn't find it on the apps list when I searched using the Samsung Apps (app). Well after a typically useless chat session with Samsung it turns out its NOT compatible with it. Only the Carrier support GN10.1 2014 Edition will work with the GG. Now I don't know why the hell that is, they didn't state that when they announced it. I am sure someone will say what's the point without a constant cellular connection but the GN10.1 isn't always on like your GN3 or GS4 is. So that is a mute point to make. Bottom line is I am not happy.

Sideload any app/file to Galaxy Gear (no cables, no computer, no ADB, no MobileGo)

Monday 13th of January 2014 /
This is something that I ran across while reading sometime ago, so I take no credit for it, I just thought I'd pass it along to help others. Basically all you need to do is use a file manager/explorer on your Note 3 (I use "My Files" most of the time) and long press on the file/app that you want to send to your Galaxy Gear and then hit the "share" button at the top of your screen. Then select "Bluetooth", and then choose the Galaxy Gear. After that, just hit "accept" on the Gear and that's it...nothing else is needed. It may take a few minutes just because bluetooth file transferring isn't extremely fast, but it works, and without having to enter commands in terminal/ADB, without any cables, without MobileGo which is a trial version (or cost $40), and you don't even need the Galaxy Gear's cradle (that you probably left at home like I did). Once the file/app has transferred over, just use a file manager on your gear to maneuver to the "SDcard/Bluetooth" directory where your files will be waiting on the Gear. Then you can simply double

Purchased App missing for watch and manager

Saturday 27th of December 2014 /
Hi Everyone, I purchased the Colorwave watch-face yesterday, and the application is not showing up on the Gear S's watch selection screen, the Gear Manager app, or on the application list of the Gear S. It shows up on the purchases screen of the Gear Manager but no where else. Can someone help me figure this out? Has anyone had similar issues? Thanks for your help!
