First of all, "Hello, My Friends!"I have a brand new Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0" (Wi-Fi) (Yeeeih!) I want to buy a Dongle to be connected to 3G/4G, and these are my questions:1) Which dongles would you recommend me to buy?- I would prefer 4G, if available/will-work in Android (4.0.4)- Or if 3G, the last model available- Or simply a very good one you'd recommend.- Please, List ALL known working ones.2) Let's say I get it to work: Will I be able to use SMS/voice service, anyhow? Will I be able to get calls/SMSs ?These are my specs:Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0" (Wi-Fi) Model GT-P3113Android Version: 4.0.4Kernel Version: 126.96.36.1994538-userse.infra@SEI-45 #1SMP PREEMPT Tue Jul 3 22:12:32 KST 2012Thanks!

best 3G dongle for Cube U30GT
Monday 15th of October 2012
My Cube U30GT arrived last week and I have been playing around with it. Very very happy with all the features.. I tried to use a Huawei 3G dongle but somehow couldn't get it to work. Later read in some forums that all dongles dont work with these CHinese tablets. So want to know from members the models which actually work with the U30GT. Thanks in advance.
How to Connect Jump Drive or 3G dongle?
Saturday 19th of May 2012
Thinking I can use it to connect a USB jump drive and also a 3G dongle for use of my tab 2 outside where NO WIFI is available, I purchased http://www.amazon.com/ReVIVE-Series-DualFLUX-Charger-Samsung/ dp/B005XPXHCU/ ref=sr_1_5?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1337478093&sr =1-5.When I use this charger which works OK to power my Tab 2, and use the second USB port on the charger to connect the jump drive, the jump drive is not recognised by the TAB. What am I doing wrong - is the ReVIVE dualFLUX charger not meant to be used thus? Also how does one use the TAB outside, where no wIFI is available - Samsung says any Plug & Play 3G adopters should work. Will appreciate your suggestions. Thanks.

Getting my Nexus 7 wifi-only to recognise my 3g USB dongle
Tuesday 01st of January 2013
I have a Nexus 7 wifi-only. I also have a 3 3g dongle which works just fine on my laptop etc. Before getting this Nexus, I had a Momo Ployer IPS which was configured to use the dongle - there was a list of supported dongles of which mine, a Huawei dongle, was one. However, the Momo was not as good as I wanted so I sold it and got the Nexus instead. I attached the dongle (via and adaptor), but I had no joy. My question is: is there any way I could unlock 3g capabilty on my wifi-only Nexus so that it will recognise the dongle, or does the 3g-capable Nexus have additional hardware to make a 3g connection possible. I am runnining Androide 4.2.1. Any suggstions and advice most welcome.
Flytouch 3 - problem with 3G dongle E1550.
Sunday 10th of April 2011
I saw a few youtube videos of people successfully using their Flytouch 2 with various USB dongles. The most popular dongle is Huawei E1750 which some people said is detected as E1550. I thought I wouldn't have a problem since I'm using Flytouch 3 with E1550 dongle: 1. I notice the "3G Settings" App this is found on Flytouch 2 is no longer in Flytouch 3. 2. I connected my dongle after doing all the APN settings in the Mobile Network setup. These settings should be correct since I use the same settings for a 3G Android phone using the same SIM card and it works okay. 3. After I insert my E1550 dongle, a small icon "3G" appears next to the battery level indicator on top of my screen. There are 2 arrows one pointing up and down that never stop flashing. 4. The blue light on the E1550 dongle just keep flashing - when the 3G connection is up, the blue light should just stay on. Anyone successfully used a E1550 on the Flytouch 3? Anyone managed to connect a 3G dongle to Flytouch 3? what make and model is it?
Dongle not working on tablet
Tuesday 21st of February 2012
I have just purchased an Android tablet which is supposed to be compatible to 3G Dongles. I plugged my dongle in and it wouldn't work. I don't have a router so am unable to connect it to Wifi.I took the tablet to a place where they have free Wifi today and it connected ok with that. Could it be that my Dongle is just not up to date enough and compatible with the Androids as it is configured for Windows I think. It works on XP, Vista and Windows 7.I had a look at my ISP site and there was mention about their customers eventually all being changed over to 4G by the end of 2012 so that we can get Windows Live (or something like that), so I am wondering if this has something to do with me not being to connect to the tablet with my 3G Dongle??? Not being a computer Geek, I am a tad confused.

connect WIFI only note 10.1 using 3g dongle
Sunday 27th of April 2014
I've a samsung galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition which is Wifi only. Am currently in india and want to connect to internet through a 3g Dongle instead of wifi. Can you let me know the process of connecting ? I thought of connecting using below method, however I dont see mobile network options in settings. ".First connect the dongle to the tablet and wait for it to read the dongle automatically, if not follow step 2 onwards. 2. Now go to Settings in your tablet and select the More option which appears next. 3. Select Mobile Networks -> Acess Point Name[APN]. 4. Then select New APN option. 5. All you have to do now is make the following changes in the bracketed entities [ Name, APN and Dial Number]:- -> Set the network name. Eg:- For Tata photon just write Tata or TP or anything, as you like it. -> Set the APN, search the net for your service provider
