Why is my android os so high?

Tuesday 18th of December 2012 / androidforums.com
Hi all, I have one question. Am trying to figure why my android os hovers around 65%. I use Microsoft exchange and gmail. I have adjusted syncing, I tried a battery monitor and that told me 121 wakelocks, which in my understanding isn't too bad. I get 16-18 hours on a charge with moderate use, but still need to know if anyone else is having same numbers. I am on sprint if that makes a difference, any thoughts would be appreciated.

Why is my N10 charge so slow?

Sunday 21st of April 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
So I recently got a Nexus 10 this Thursday as a early birthday gift, but recently since I've had it I noticed something. It charges horribly slow. I mean I can plug it in say 1pm at 20% and by 6pm it will probably be 72%. Any help? Is this normal? I have not let it drain all the way yet.

At my wits end. Why is my LG Esteem so slow compared to Wife's stock Esteem?

Tuesday 27th of November 2012 / androidforums.com
Hi there, Long time lurker & Android user, first time poster to this forum. BackgroundI bought my Esteem in December of 2011. My wife bought hers in January of 2012. Right from the start, my Esteem was having the random reboot problem, while my wife's was not. The ProblemAs a result of my random reboots (and because I'm a nerd), I rooted my Esteem and have been playing around with various roms, kernels, and Overclocking with SetCPU over the past year. The problem is, my wife's bone stock phone is still noticeably faster than mine. It's not faster in benchmark tests as my overclocked processor kills hers, but it's faster in the to day usage. For example, with both phones on a fresh reboot, and doing the best I can to touch the "contacts" button on both phones at the exact same time, her's comes up instantly with no delay, while mine has a very slight lag to it. It's not much but it's noticeable in the day to day usage. I can only describe it as her phone registers the touch and opens the app instantly, while mine registers the touch, **thinks for 50 milliseconds** then o

Why is my 4G Hotspot so slow???

Sunday 06th of May 2012 / androidforums.com
Just added the hotspot feature to my Rezound. My 4G on the phone is blazing fast at 25-30mbps download with 4-6mbps upload consistently. Unfortunately, when I use my laptop through the hotspot, I average about 2mbps download and 4mbps upload. Why is it so slow??? I can't stand it.

Why is my Camera screen so blurry???!

Monday 11th of November 2013 / forums.androidcentral.com
Never before have I had this problem, this just happened right now. When you're using the camera, you can switch it into two ways it's facing. You can make the camera face where you're holding it at, and you make the camera face you, as if u were to take a selfie or something. When I select the selfie view mode, the screen is completely blurry. The other view is crisp clear, not blurry at all, but the selfie view of the camera is no where near crisp clear at all. My current settings for the camera is:Photos size: 1920x1080 (16:9)Burst shot: OffAuto night detection: OnGPS Tag: OffReview: OffVolume key: The zoom keyTimer: OffWhite Balance: AutoExposure value: 0Guidelines: OffFlash: OffVoice Control: Off You get the idea, everything after voice control is basically off, besides shutter sound. What exactly is the problem here? Like why is my selfie screen so blurry, yet when I switch the camera to the normal view, it's crisp clear? Is there a way to fix this? Thank you so much

Why is my Android Moto X falling asleep unexpectedly?

Wednesday 20th of August 2014 / forums.androidcentral.com
My Android (Motorola X) falls asleep unexpectedly. I have the sleep setting at 1 minute, but the just last few days it has started to go into sleep (screen turns black) even while I have been browsing just in the last few seconds! There is plenty of battery charge, so I can't understand why this is happening? Do you? What can I do? Thanks in advance!

Why is my phone charging so slow? Also why does it decrease sometimes?

Tuesday 21st of October 2014 / forums.androidcentral.com
My phone usually charges fast. This is my second replacement phone...and this morning it said 30% when it was on the charger for the whole night. So when I went to school I plugged it into my laptop and it decreased after a while when I tried it again, it started charging. Had this problem before but now its taking hours to get up to 50%. Sorry for the long post.
